Prep Notes

Wash and Peel apples

(Core Apple)

Chop apple slices into small cubes, roughly into 1/2" pieces


2 pounds Apples (your choice; I prefer Gala, Honeycrisp, or Fuji, or Granny Smith which is slightly tart)

Medium Saucepan

3/4 c Filtered Water

1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon (Organic if possible)


Combine water, apple chunks, and cinnamon into sauce pan. 

Cover with lid and cook on medium heat

Stir apples every few minutes to help improve consistency

Cook for up to 20 minutes (stirring as needed; lower hear if necessary)

Once done cooking and water is absorbed, let applesauce cool for 5-10 minutes

If you would like to mash the apples more, I often use a potato masher to get the consistency I like

Add additional cinnamon as desired


(Be sure to refrigerate once cool)
