LOW GLYCEMIC FRUITS

We all love fruit, right?!









Fruit is so good for us, there are so many different colorful fruits that offer a variety of health benefits.  Some fruits have a lower glycemic index, that provide an abundance of nutrients:

  • Blueberries
  • Blackberries
  • Raspberries
  • Strawberries
Since fruit already provides natural sugars, it is best to avoid adding sugar to them (especially artificial sweeteners).  Some of my favorite ways to incorporate fruits are:
  • Add to Smoothies
  • Add to Salads
  • Make a Fruit Salad
  • Mix with Nuts
  • Topped on Chia Pudding
  • Add to Filtered Water
  • Juicing

Do not be afraid of eating fruit, we need fruit in our daily diets, fruit provides many important nutrients that our bodies need!
