Love Freely, Laugh Genuinely, Eat Colorfully

What are cruciferous vegetables?
These are vegetables that contain a great deal of fiber and vitamins!

Fiber is important for the body to support our digestive health and help prevent chronic disease.  Different vitamins and minerals help support different parts of our body to help our bodies function properly.

Here are a few of my favorite cruciferous vegetables:

  • Cabbage
  • Broccoli
  • Kale
  • Brussel Sprouts
  • Cauliflower
  • Radish and more!

These foods can be eaten raw, steamed, or sautéed.  It is fun to experiment with different foods.  Be sure to check out Oh So Lia recipes to help with meal ideas!
